         The Real Estate Practitioner’s Institute recently held it Annual Spring Luncheon in Jericho, Long Island. A packed house was on hand to hear the featured speaker of the day, James L. Larocca, Chairman of the Long Island Power Authority, speak on the topic: “It’s Not Too Late to Make Energy Sense.”
         John J. Gutleber, President of REPI, also introduced Daniel Gulizio who spoke briefly about the recently announced Land Use Initiative of The Real Estate Practitioners Institute at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University. The Initiative is designed to encourage sustainable, community-oriented development through advocacy, education, research and technical services.
