Bill Greiner has served as President of Greiner-Maltz since he founded it with Richard Maltz in 1953. Since that time, Bill has been a well-respected source for providing real estate market values to bankers, appraisers, attorneys and business owners.
Greiner-Maltz has been tracking the real estate market since 1977 and has been publishing statistics on industrial space since that time. The business community looks to these reports as a barometer of the business climate.
Recently, he completed transactions totaling over 1,150,000 square feet of industrial space. Bill was successful in the sale of the 215,000 square foot General Semiconductor property in Hicksville, for which he acted as exclusive broker. In one of Long Island's largest transactions, Bill arranged for the purchase of the former White Rose 650,000 square foot warehouse in Farmingdale to P.C. Richard & Son.
EDUCATION ---------------------------------------------------
Bill graduated from the City College of New York with a Bachelors Degree in Business. He attended New York University for advanced business courses. Throughout his career, he has taught many qualifying and continuing education courses. He has been a lecturer before the Long Island Board of Realtors, C.W. Post Real Estate Practitioner's Institute and Hofstra University.
Bill has been a member of the society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) since 1976. He is a past President of the Commercial and Industrial Division of the Long Island Board of Realtors, a past director of the Long Island Association of Commerce and Industry and is a founding member of the Real Estate Practitioner's Institute of Long Island, a Division of C.W. Post College.
